Ghana Football Associatio Launches 2022/23 Beach Soccer League in Accra

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially launched the 2022/23 Beach Soccer League, which is set to kick off on the weekend of May 27-28, 2023.

The launch event, which was held at the GFA Secretariat in Accra, was attended by leaders of the GFA and representatives of the 14 participating clubs.

President Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku and General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo represented the GFA at the launch, along with other high-ranking officials.

The GFA has pledged to provide each of the 14 participating clubs with an amount of GHc10,000 to help them prepare for the upcoming season. The winner of the league will be awarded GHc15,000, while the runner-up will receive GHc7,000 as prize money.

Vice Chairmen Yaw Gymfi Kusi Awere expressed his gratitude to the GFA for their support, stating that clubs are eager to compete in the upcoming season.

The launch of the 2022/23 Beach Soccer League follows the successful organization of the FA Cup competition last year by the GFA
