Asisat Oshoala Prettified West Africa’s Pride As 6th CAF Player Of The Year

Having won the sixth CAF player of the year award, Asisat Oshoala enhanced West Africa’s sense of pride as her records span the years 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022, and 2023.

On December 11, 2023, the 29-year-old striker, who presently plays for FC Barcelona Women, was declared the gong winner of the gala held in Marrakesh, Morocco.

Following their performance at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar 2022, Morocco was named the Men’s National Team winner, and the Super Falcons of Nigeria were named the Women’s National Team of the Month for the entire continent.
