His sojourn in Algeria did not go as planned as he struggled to replicate his previous form in the North African country, prompting his return to his former club.

“I didn’t hesitate at all to make the decision to return to this club when the opportunity came up,” Esso said on his return to the Dawu-based side.

“This place proved to be a good home for me when I first arrived, and I hope to contribute to the aspirations of the club.”

Meanwhile, General Manager Armeenu Shardow expressed confidence in Esso’s abilities, citing his familiarity with the team and his potential to positively influence their performance.

“Joseph made a great impact on the team during his time here,” Shardow remarked. “He is a player we know very well, and we believe strongly he’ll be another great addition to the squad in achieving our targets.”

The 27-year-old’s return is timely for Dreams FC, particularly as they navigate the challenges of the CAF Confederation Cup and defend their title in the MTN FA Cup.

Additionally, they remain in contention for the league championship, albeit trailing the leaders by 10 points with two games remaining.

Given his experience and proven track record, Esso is poised to be a valuable asset for Dreams FC as they strive for success across multiple competitions.
