Handball Association of Ghana Present IHF Africa Zone 3 Trophy to Ministry of Youth and Sports

The Handball Association of Ghana led by the President Nii Lante Barnerman has officially presented the U 20 Africa Zone 3 IHF Trophy to the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the Secretariat.

The Under 20 Ghana Handball Team won the IHF Africa Zone 3 Trophy organized by the Confederation of African Handball in March 2024 at the Borteyman Sports Complex Ghana.

During the meeting the Minister assured them of Government support for the team and the association at large in all their endeavors.

The Sports Minister Honorable Mustspha Ussif urged them to continue their hard work to represent the country with pride and honor.

Ghana drew in their opening game against Ivory Coast by a 44-44 scoreline, a victory in their second and third matches against Togo (49-18) and Benin (32-26).

Ghana secured their maiden IHF Africa Zone 3 Trophy by beating Ivory Coast 32-28 by final scoreline.
