Accra Hearts of Oak secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League Week 29 at the Berekum Golden City Park.

The win was a crucial one for Hearts of Oak, who were sitting in 13th place with 35 points before the game, while Berekum Chelsea were in 8th position with 41 points.

The first half of the game saw both teams battling for control in the midfield, with neither side able to create many clear-cut chances. However, it was Hearts of Oak who broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute, thanks to a well-taken goal by in-form attacker Hamza Issah.

After the halftime break, both teams made some tactical adjustments and changes to their lineups. Hearts of Oak began to dominate the game, and their efforts were rewarded in the 59th minute when Linda Mtange scored the team’s second goal.

Berekum Chelsea tried to mount a comeback, but Hearts of Oak’s defense was solid, and they were able to keep their opponents at bay. The game was put beyond doubt in the 83rd minute when striker Kassim Cisse scored the team’s third goal, securing all three points for Hearts of Oak.

Berekum Chelsea will now turn their attention to their next league game against Asante Kotoko, while Hearts of Oak will face off against Aduana Stars.
