Former International Boxing Organisation (IBO) Lightweight Champion, Emmanuel Tagoe has tipped his gym mate WBO Africa Featherweight champion John Laryea for greatness if he remains focused, disciplined and committed to his coaches and training schedule.

Tagoe aka Game Boy who trains at the Bronx Gym at James Town with other boxers including undefeated Laryea aka ‘Expensive’ under the tutelage of Coach Carl Lokko believes the gym has what it takes to more world champions for Ghana bexause of their discipline and ambition to become great.

He noted that all boxers at the Bronx are respectful, dedicated and committed to what they love doing.

According to Tagoe, John Laryea who is undefeated is in good hands, with Mr. Sammy Anim Addo and multiple awards winning boxing manager, Mr. Peter Kahn, so if he gets the chance to travel to USA, he could change to become better, unless he is complasent.

Tagoe said boxing is exciting to watch, but very hard to play and very serious if you are a champion with everyone targeting you, so one must be very tough to succeed.
