Dansoman based Faith Ladies will face off with Hasaacas Ladies on Matchday Eighteen (18) of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League at the Carl Reindorf Park on Sunday May 26, 2024.

Faith Ladies are three points behind leaders Hasaacas Ladies and a win will give them – a historic play off final as Southern Zone champions following a 1-1 draw in the first round of the season.

Coach Raymond Fenny’s side have been impressive this season and aims to end on a high. Faith Ladies are unbeaten in their last three League games with the likes of Aku Allotey, Emmanuella Johnson and Esther Boateng stepping up for the team.

Hasaacas Ladies will go into this fixture knowing that dropping points might spell doom for them by handing the play off spot to Faith Ladies, a positive outcome will brighten their chances for a 5th League title despite picking only 1 win in their last three games.

Hasaacas Ladies lead the Southern Zone table with 36 points, while the host are second with 33 after 17 rounds of matches. Players like Mukarama Abdulai, Alice Sarpong, Vera Afful and Grace Banwaa have vowed to deliver the points for Yussif Basigi on Sunday but that wont come cheap due to the near perfect record of Faith Ladies at the Dansoman Carl Reindorff Park.
