Both Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Hasaaca Ladies players and Coaches takes their chances in the 2023/24 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League finals
And ahead of the showdown clash, the club’s head coach spoke to the media today at the GFA Secretariat in Accra.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies head coach Nana Joe Adarkwa on his team…..
“We went for the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League, when we came back, my players were very tired. So the matches, we found it difficult to win all the matches but we came as winners of our zone, which is Northern Sector, and now we are with my best friend from the Hasaaca Ladies side”.
“We’re coming to battle for the Cup and I know one of us will be champion”.

“During the Champions League, everything was fantastic but during our league games in the northern zone, it wasn’t easy but with the determination and focus, everything was successful, we were the champions there and here we are today to play the finals, we believe in ourselves and we are ready for the game “.
Hasaaca Ladies Assistant Coach Emmanuel Kwasi Mensah has to say during today’s Presser…
“We couldn’t make it to the FA cup finals. So virtual people might seen that, Hasaaca Ladies is not performing but still see us as champions as where we are ,but takes a lot of hard-work”.
“For us, I will say , we started achieving with the Super Cup, we brought in new player because a lot of our players has exit the team, so our focus was to raise an other team”.
“We started on a good not but the second half of the season, as coach Adarkwa said, the ins and outs of our players into the national teams, the fact that our coaches were also engaged on national duties slow down our progress”.
” For me I think that, it’s hard-work that has taken us to this level, out of the ten teams in the Southern Zone, Hasaaca has made it to the finals. We are excited to be in the finals because, the other nine teams could be love to be here, virtual, we could have been left out from the finals and people will be like, what’s happening to Hasaaca Ladies. It put a lot of challenge oñ us, and we keep on working and working. Even when our final day, action came to the point, we have to Play Faith Ladies before we booked our finals. It; was 8 point lead and now we made it very slim, we became down, down but Faith Ladies game has turned things for us, we won 3-0 and it gives us confidence. So for me I think it good for us to in this finals”.
Hasaaca Ladies Capitan and Goalkeeper Grace Buoadu Banwaa has this to say….
“The match is not going to be easy, is going to be tough match, but we are ready for the game”.
