MTN FA Cup trophy arrives on University of Ghana campus today ahead of Sunday’s final

The prestigious MTN FA Cup trophy will arrive at the University of Ghana campus on Thursday, June 20, 2024, ahead of Sunday’s epic final between Nsoatreman FC and Bofoakwa Tano FC.

The University of Ghana Sports Stadium, will host the highly anticipated FA Cup match between the two sides on Sunday at 6 p.m.

A delegation made up of the organizing committee, GFA officials, and MTN will present the giant trophy to the pro-vice chancellor and leadership of the university community on Thursday, June 20, 2024, before making stops at other key departments on campus.

The delegation will then invite the Vice Chancellor and leadership of the University community to Sunday’s final match as special guests.

Students, lecturers, and football fans on campus will also catch a glimpse of the giant trophy, which is a symbol of football excellence.

As anticipation builds for Sunday’s final match, various activities will be held on the University of Ghana campus as we countdown to the Bono-derby finale on Sunday.

Sponsors MTN will also stage various activations at the various halls on campus as part of the buildup.
