Immigration FC squanders two-goal lead to draw with Danbort FC in the opening game of the GARFA Division Two middle league play-offs

ACCRA, 22nd June 2024— Immigration FC drew 2-2 with Danbort FC in the 2023/24 GARFA Division Two middle league play-offs when last minute penalty from Christian Kumi earned Danbort FC a 2-2 draw on Saturday.

Immigration was 2-0 ahead through Ollenu Ashitey brace in the 53rd minute and in the 57th.

Danbort reduced the deficit in the 66th when Bright Mensah Ocran beautiful header beat the goalkeeper in post for immigration and Kumi converted from the spot in the 79th minute time after a controversial penalty was awarded to Danbort FC.

Immigration FC will face Emmanuel FC in their final group games on Wednesday 26th June, 10am at the Accra sports Stadium.

Ollenu Ashitey of the Ghana Immigration Service team was adjust the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the game.
