Immigration FC Finishes Second in 2023/24 GARFA Division Two Middle League Play-Offs

Immigration FC secured a commendable second place behind Danbort FC, the eventual winners of Group A, in the 2023/24 GARFA campaign. The team’s impressive performance saw them narrowly miss the top spot.

In their first game, Immigration FC faced Nungua-based Danbort FC, resulting in a 2-2 draw after surrendering a two-goal lead in the second half. Their second match against Emmanuel City FC ended in a goalless draw. With all teams tied on points and head-to-head rule, Danbort FC advanced to the final stage due to their superior goal tally in the group games, as per Article 7, Section 4(c) of the League regulations. Danbort FC scored three goals in two games, while Immigration FC scored two, and Emmanuel City FC scored one.
