Accra Hearts of Oak announce 31-man squad for pre-season tour at Togo

Accra Hearts of Oak have embarked on a pre-season tour to Togo, where they will continue their preparations for the upcoming season.

The Phobians have taken 31 players along as they gear up for the new campaign under the guidance of coach Aboubakar Ouattara.

The team’s pre-season journey follows a mixed start, having suffered a loss to Asante Kotoko in the Democracy Cup but rebounding to secure the Gbese Mantse Cup after a penalty shootout victory over Heart of Lions.

With several new signings and an eagerness to improve on their previous season’s performance, there is a renewed sense of optimism within the squad.

During their time in Togo, Hearts of Oak have lined up friendly matches, including one against Togolese champions ASKO Kara, with the official date yet to be confirmed.

They will kick off their 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season with a home game against debutants Basake Holy Stars.
