Haruna Salim, the talented Ghanaian footballer known for his physical strength and versatility, has officially joined Port City Football Club, the newly promoted Division One side based in Kukurantumi.

The 21-year-old right-back, who can also play as a center-back, has signed a two-year contract with the club, marking an exciting new chapter in his burgeoning career.

Salim, affectionately nicknamed “King Beco,” first made a name for himself at Panthers FC, where he began his professional career in 2020 at the tender age of 17.

His exceptional performance on the field soon caught the attention of Tudu Mighty Jet, and he made the switch in 2021. Under the guidance of Coach Orlando Wellington, Salim’s abilities flourished, earning him the prestigious Player of the Season award for the 2021-22 season.

In 2022, Salim moved to Nations FC in Abrankese, Kumasi, where he continued to impress under the leadership of Coach Kwabena Amissah. His contributions were instrumental in helping Nations FC secure promotion from the National Division One Zone 2 to the Ghana Premier League in the 2022-23 season.
