Max TV secures television broadcast rights for Black Stars Afcon 2025 home matches

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) through the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has confirmed IMAX Media Group (Max TV) as the Host Broadcaster for Ghana’s three (3) AFCON 2025 home matches.

The three games will form part of the qualification phase of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025.

IMAX Media Group (Max TV), as Host Broadcaster, will produce for CAF, the Ghana vrs. Angola match on September 5, 2024 in Kumasi.

This would be followed in October by the Ghana vrs Sudan match and finally Ghana vrs. Niger final home match in November 2024.

The Host Broadcaster, IMAX Media Group (Max TV) will work with the CAF Broadcast Venue Media Officer and the GFA to produce and transmit the match to CAF and telecast the match in Ghana.

It would be recalled that Max TV produced the inter-club CAF matches during Medeama SC and Dreams FC’s participation in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup respectively.

IMAX Media Group (Max TV) also produced the 1st preliminary round matches for FC Samartex 1996 and Nsoatreman FC.

IMAX Media Group (Max TV) has also produced Black Stars matches in the past.

Max TV is authorised by CAF to as the ONLY FREE TO AIR TELEVISION STATION permitted to transmit these matches LIVE within the territory of Ghana.
