Beach Rugby League and World Cleanup Day Set to Make Waves at Laboma Beach

The Rugby League Federation Ghana, in partnership with Let’s Do It Ghana and Regardless Mode, is excited to announce the return of the Beach Rugby League 2.0 event. This year’s edition, taking place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Laboma Beach, will combine thrilling rugby action with a powerful environmental message as part of World Cleanup Day.

Event Highlights:

Beach Rugby Tournament: Teams will compete in an intense, fast-paced rugby league format on the beach. Expect an exciting display of skill, teamwork, and action-packed matches.

Beach Cleanup: In line with World Cleanup Day, participants will take part in a beach cleanup under the theme, “Make Room for Life.” This initiative aims to leave a lasting impact on our environment, encouraging everyone to join in making a difference.

The day begins with an energizing aerobic session, clean up followed by free health screenings and wellness booths, including massage therapy as well as rugby league matches and other activities throughout the day
