Legon Cities FC Skipper Frank Akoto believes their first victory is near

Captain of Legon Cities FC, Frank Akoto has expressed a feeling of 3 maximum points in their upcoming Ghana Premier League Match Day 4 game against Karela Utd.

Legon Cities are yet to win in the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, having drew once and lost 2.

Legon Cities lost their matchday 1 game to Bibiani GoldStars by 2-1, lost to Medeama SC by 1-0 at home and managed a 1-1 draw game with new entrants Vision FC in match week 3 at Tema New Town.

The team will host Karela United at the University of Ghana Stadium and Akoto says he feels the win and a 3 maximum point is near.

In an interview with the media he said “We (Legon Cities) have played three games so far and we just have a point. We lost to Bibiani GoldStars and Medeama SC and drew Vision FC. We are not perturbed about the situation. But I have a strong feeling that we are winning in our home game against Karela United.”

He added that “We are not downplaying the opponent, because Karela United is a good team, but I believe in my team and we are ever ready to make amends for our fans to enjoy the win, we are going all out to get the win”

Legon Cities are ath the bottom of the league with just a point and will play Karela United on match week 4 at the Legon stadium..
