The Ghana Black Sharks are expected to commence camping for the Beach Soccer Afcon on Monday. The team is already 10 days behind their original training schedule following delay due to lack of funds from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The Black Sharks eliminated Ivory Coast to qualify for the tournament, but must repeat that spectacular feat to have any chance of making it out of the group of death. Hosts Egypt, African Beach Games gold medalists Morocco and East African champions Tanzania complete a very tough group A.

The tournament kicks off on 19th October in the Egyptian coastal city of Hurghada, which means the Ghanaians have less than 2 weeks to be ready for the Continental World Cup qualifier.
