Ghana Rugby Eagles Women announce squad for the 2024 Rugby Africa Women’s Sevens tournament

Ghana Rugby Eagles Women head coach Marvin Chirume has announced his squad for the 2024 Rugby Africa Women’s Sevens  tournament.

The 2024 Rugby Africa Women’s Sevens Tournament, qualifier for the 2025 Challenger Series, will take place in Accra, Ghana from Saturday November 9 to Sunday November 10, marking the first time that West Africa will host the prestigious event.

Twelve players have been selected for the qualifiers;

Twelve nations will compete for glory in Ghana, including:

South Africa
Zimbabwe
Uganda
Kenya
Madagascar
Burkina Faso
Mauritius
Tunisia
Zambia
Côte d’Ivoire
Senegal
Ghana.

The opening match will commence with Zambia against Senegal at 9:00 local Ghana time (GMT) on Saturday, November 9 at the Rugby Stadium, University of Ghana.
