Ghanaian boxer John Laryea has been nominated for the prestigious Professional Boxer of the Year 2024 award at the Boxing Ghana Awards. This recognition is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and impressive achievements in the boxing world.

Laryea, a two-time WBO Africa Featherweight Champion, is among nine nominees vying for the top spot in the Professional Boxer of the Year category. The other nominees include Daniel Selassie Gorsh, Derrick Quaye, Stanley Nyantakyi, John Zile, Abigail Quartey, Joseph Commey, Theophilus Kpakpo Allotey, and Holy Dorgbetor.
