As sports keep on creating opportunities and avenues for people, the various sporting disciplines must all be respected and given the needed support and hospitality facilities to operate.

Not everyone can play or love football which is commonly labelled as the passion of the nation, however boxing has given the nation more laurels with eleven world champions and Olympic Games medals.

Other sports like Armwrestling have in recent times also saved the nation.

Currently there are over 50 sports federations in Ghana and all of them can do well if corporate Ghana lends a hand.

The solution to sports organisation problem is funds, so if companies will come on board to help the federations, the athletes will excel.

At the 2025 Congress of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) it was made known by the President. Mr.Ben Nunoo that some new federations want to join.

The GOC composes Olympic and None Olympic Sports federations.

The Federations are:

  1. Breaking Federation
  2. BSF-Ghana. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation
  3. Ghana Flying Disc Association
  4. Federation of Ski and Sliding Sports – Ghana
  5. Ghana Wrestling Association
  6. Bowling Federation

According to the GOC President the six federations have to fulfill some requirements to be admitted.
