The Ghana Manchester United Supporters’ Club (GMUSC) has provided a lifeline to the Baglo community in the Oti Region with the commissioning of a mechanized borehole.
The project, spearheaded by GMUSC chairman and football administrator Samuel Anim Addo, was officially handed over on Saturday, January 2025.

In a post on X, GMUSC noted the borehole’s primary beneficiaries, stating, “The new mechanized borehole will provide a reliable water source for the Baglo community and the security personnel stationed at the Baglo border post, including the Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Revenue Authority Customs Division, Ghana Armed Forces, and National Security.”

The initiative has been met with widespread gratitude from residents, who praised GMUSC for addressing the community’s water needs.
This borehole is one of many community projects undertaken by GMUSC since its formation, showcasing the club’s dedication to social impact beyond its football fandom.
