The Ghana Manchester United Supporters’ Club (GMUSC) is set to blend community service with entertainment in a special Independence Day event on March 6, 2025.

Partnering with Buz Stop Boys and Honeysuckle, the supporters’ group aims to make a meaningful impact off the pitch while celebrating their shared passion for football.

The day’s itinerary is split into two segments, each designed to foster both social responsibility and camaraderie.

The morning session, scheduled from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, will focus on a community clean-up exercise in La, a suburb of Accra.

This initiative aligns with GMUSC’s broader commitment to giving back, reinforcing the idea that football communities extend beyond the stands into the heart of society.

Following the clean-up, the excitement shifts to Laboma Beach, where a variety of fun games and activities will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This segment offers members a chance to unwind, strengthen bonds, and immerse themselves in the celebratory atmosphere.

“We’re proud to announce that we’re partnering with Buz Stop Boys and Honeysuckle to have a morning of community service and a fun-filled afternoon of games and activities!” GMUSC shared on X (formerly Twitter).

Earlier in the year, the group provided a lifeline to the Baglo community in the Oti Region with the commissioning of a mechanized borehole.

Spearheaded by GMUSC chairman and football administrator Samuel Anim Addo, the project was officially handed over in January 2025.

Residents expressed their gratitude, recognizing the supporters’ club for addressing a critical water supply issue.

This latest initiative reaffirms the group’s ethos—showcasing that football, beyond its thrilling moments on the pitch, has the power to unite and uplift communities.
