Asante Kotoko are top of the Ghana Premier League after a 2-0 win over Legon Cities on Sunday.

A goal in each half propelled the Porcupine Warriors to the summit of the table, overtaking rivals Hearts of Oak.

Patrick Asiedu opened the scoring in the 28th minute with a belter before Kwame Poku sealed victory through the spot kick in the 88th minute.

Asante Kotoko are top of the table with 37 points.

Medeama SC rallied from behind to beat Bechem United 3-1 at home on Sunday.

Darivin Yeboah put the visitors in front after just six minutes before Kamaradini Mamudu grabbed the equaliser ten minutes later.

Michael Sarpong put Medeama in the driving seat with the second goal in the 66th minute before Kelvin Nkrumah put the icing on the cake with the third goal five minute into additional time.

Karela United dropped points at home after drawing 1-1 against Basake Holy Stars.

Alhassan Adamu opened the scoring for the home side before Bismark Tayi pulled parity through the spot kick in the 70th minute as the two teams shared the points at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.

Karela United lie in the bottom three while Holy Stars lie 9th.

Gold Stars FC recoded a narrow 1-0 win over Nations FC at home on Sunday March 9, 2025.

Michael Nkoah’s 68th minute strike separated the two teams at the Duns Park.

The Miners have dropped to third in the table with 34 points while Nations lie 5th in the table with 32 points.

Stephen Amankona scored a sensational hat trick for Berekum Chelsea in their 3-1 win over Accra Lions on Sunday.

Karim Zito’s men failed to make home advantage count as they shared the spoils against the visitors.

Dreams are just above the relegation zone with 21 points while Aduana lie in 13th position
