KGL FOUNDATION CEO ELIOT DADEY: “WE’RE NOT JUST SHAPING ATHLETES, WE’RE BUILDING A STRONGER GHANA”

The KGL Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing young football talent in Ghana through the Inter-Regional U17 Colts Championship. Speaking at the launch of the 5th edition, KGL Foundation CEO Eliot Dadey highlighted the organization’s investment in the youth.

“We’ve invested in kits, equipment, training, and, more importantly, in a belief system,” Dadey stated. “We’ve helped turn football into a viable path for these young boys to chase their dreams.”

Dadey emphasized that the championship has transcended its sporting context, evolving into a movement that showcases Ghanaian integrity and determination globally. “This project has become more than a tournament,” he said. “It’s a movement grounded in community and passion, reflecting Ghanaian integrity and determination on the global stage.”

The CEO underscored the significance of investing in young players, noting that it extends beyond shaping athletes to building a stronger, more vibrant Ghana for future generations. “As we open the 5th edition, we must remember that by investing in these young players, we’re not just shaping athletes, we’re building a stronger, more vibrant Ghana for generations to come.”

The 5th edition of the Inter-Regional U17 Colts Championship was officially launched on May 20, 2025. With high expectations, the tournament is poised to once again showcase the next generation of Ghanaian football talent, providing a platform for young players to excel and pursue their dreams.
