Paris Saint-Germain lift the Champions League for the first time

PSG thrashed Internazionale Milan 5-0 in the 2025 UEFA men’s Champions League final on Saturday (31 May).

The French side dominated a one-sided showpiece event to finish the European football season, at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.

French league winners PSG, coached by Luis Enrique, took the lead after 12 minutes through Achraf Hakimi, before Desire Doue Desire Douedoubled their lead in the first half. The 19-year-old added his second goal to make it 3-0 before Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu completed the 5-0 win for the Parisians.

Enrique, an Olympic gold medallist as a player with Spain at Barcelona 1992, also won the Champions League as coach of Barcelona.

PSG will face Europa League winners Tottenham for the European Super Cup in August.
