The Ghana Football Association’s Referees Department has released its official calendar outlining intensive training and fitness programs for referees ahead of the 2025/26 season. The schedule includes technical workshops, physical assessments, and rule update sessions aimed at enhancing officiating standards across all leagues. Referees are expected to undergo rigorous preparation to ensure peak performance and consistency throughout the season.
This will be followed by courses for the Premier League, Access Bank Division One League, and Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League in September and October, just before the leagues commence.
The Referee’s Department is working tirelessly to ensure referees officiating in the top-tier competitions receive comprehensive training to maintain the integrity of the leagues.
