CAF has named Moroccan referee Bouchra Karboubi as the official for Ghana’s opening WAFCON 2024 match against fierce rivals South Africa. Moroccan referee Bouchra Karboubi will officiate Ghana’s first match against South Africa in the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. Karboubi will be assisted by compatriot Ihsane Ennouajeli Nouajli (Assistant I) and Algeria’s Asma Feriel Ouahab (Assistant II).
Sabah Sadir from Morocco will serve as Fourth Official, while Sainabou Cham from Gambia will act as Match Commissioner. Tesfanesh Woreta Hailu from Ethiopia will also work as the referee assessor.
The match is scheduled for 5:00 pm (16:00 GMT) Kick Off at Stade d’Honneur in Oujda, Morocco on Monday, July 7, 2025.
