GFA President Kurt E.S Okraku and the Executive Council (EXCO) are set to meet with executives of Women’s Premier League clubs as part of stakeholder engagements ahead of the 2025/26 season. The meeting will focus on reviewing the previous season, addressing key challenges, and discussing strategic improvements to advance women’s football in Ghana.

The annual review meeting will be held with the support of Vice-President Mark Addo and Executive Council member Gifty Oware Mensah.

The engagement will provide a platform to review the 2024/25 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League season while laying the groundwork for a successful 2025/26 campaign.

The agenda for the meeting will cover a broad range of issues, including the implementation of updated Women’s Premier League regulations, which will come into force at the start of the 2025/26 season.

The session will also provide an opportunity to reflect on the key achievements and challenges from the past season, review club compliance with league standards, and assess the impact of initiatives introduced to support the growth of the women’s game.

The 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League is scheduled to commence on October 31, 2025, and will run until April 27, 2026.

The meeting is expected to foster shared understanding, reinforce policy alignment, and ensure all stakeholders are prepared for the upcoming season.
