The Ghana Football Association has released an updated timeline for offseason youth football activities under the theme “Power to the Youth.” The revised schedule aims to streamline talent identification, development camps, and inter-district tournaments, ensuring consistent engagement and growth opportunities for young players across the country.

This initiative is part of our unwavering commitment to nurturing young football talents across the country and providing structured platforms for development.

Under the theme “Power to the Youth”, the timeline kicks off with the Elite U15 Boys Colts Championship which will be held from 25th to 31st August 2025, continuing our efforts to spotlight the next generation of male footballers.

Following this, the KGL U17 Colts Boys Inter-Regional Championship, which was scheduled for 4th to 10th August 2025 will now be played between 19th and 28th September, 2025. This competition will bring together the finest U17 talents from colts clubs across the country and serves as a key scouting and development opportunity.

The Elite U15 Girls Inter-Regional Championship will take place from 5th to 11th October, followed by the maiden edition of the Elite Girls U17 Colts Championship from 14th to 19th October 2025. These tournaments are crucial in expanding the talent pool for our national women’s teams and in promoting gender balance in football development.

From 23rd October to 2nd September 2025, attention will shift to the maiden edition of the Second Division Elite U19 Championship, reserved for players selected solely from regional second division clubs. All ten Regional Football Associations will present their elite U19 squads, further strengthening competition and talent identification within our league system.
