Officials from betPawa have engaged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in high-level discussions aimed at deepening their partnership and exploring new avenues for football development in the country. The meeting focused on enhancing investment in local leagues, youth football, and creating sustainable support systems for clubs and players. Both parties expressed commitment to building a stronger football ecosystem through innovation and responsible sponsorship.


This forms part of efforts to strengthen collaboration and explore further areas of partnership within the Ghana football ecosystem. The delegation from betPawa included Nii Armah Ashong-Katai, Regional Manager CSR and Sports Development for West and Southern Africa and Ms. Borah Ndanyungu, Head of Local Marketing & CSR – betPawa.
They were warmly received by General Secretary, Prosper Harrison Addo, along with some staff members of the Association. During the visit, both parties engaged in productive discussions aimed at reviewing the ongoing partnership and identifying new opportunities to further develop and promote Ghana football, particularly at the domestic league level.
The betPawa officials, in turn, reaffirmed their commitment to Ghana football and praised the GFA for the professionalism and transparency that has defined their collaboration so far. The visit underscores betPawa’s active role not only as a sponsor but also as a key stakeholder in the growth of the sport in Ghana.
