Arsenal have confirmed that Gabriel Jesus has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in his left knee. The Brazilian forward was substituted during Sunday’s FA Cup match against Manchester United, prompting immediate concerns.

Extensive assessments and specialist reviews have confirmed the severity of the injury. Jesus is scheduled to undergo surgery in the coming days, after which he will begin a comprehensive recovery and rehabilitation programme.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expressed his concern, stating, “It is not looking good at all. We were very worried after the game and we are very worried today”. The club has assured fans that they will provide regular updates on Jesus’s recovery progress.
