Afua Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum, a Ghanaian entrepreneur and Tourism Ambassador, has successfully completed her second attempt to break the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest individual singing marathon. Beginning on December 21 and concluding on December 26, 2024, at the Heroes Park Annex in Kumasi, she sang for an impressive 121 hours and 39 minutes, surpassing India’s Sunil Waghmare’s 2012 record of 105 hours.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Afua Asantewaa expressed her gratitude to Ghanaians for their unwavering support throughout her journey. “Your energy, encouragement, and love fueled my spirit and gave me the strength to push through the challenges,” she shared, adding that she was honored to represent Ghana on the global stage.
