Kotoko Coach Prosper Ogum Breaks Down Tactical Mastery in FA Cup Victory Over Eleven Wise—–Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has revealed the tactical approach that led to his team’s 1-0 win over Sekondi Eleven Wise in the Round of 16 of the MTN FA Cup.
According to Coach Ogum, Kotoko’s strategy was to maintain possession of the ball and exploit the gaps behind Eleven Wise’s defensive line.
“We tried as much as possible to make sure that we kept possession of the ball and tried to play the ball behind their defensive line because we realized they mostly stayed in a low block or a medium block.”

This tactical approach ultimately paid off, as Elvis Kyei Baffour’s solitary strike secured a narrow win for the Porcupine Warriors and advanced them to the quarterfinals.
Coach Ogum praised both teams for their performances, saying, “It was a good game where both teams played very well… I think both teams played well.”
With the win, Asante Kotoko will now face True Democracy in the quarterfinals of the MTN FA Cup.
