The Strategic Youth Network for Development (SYND) organized a week capacity building workshop for its v Staff on the 10th to 14th of July,with the aim of enhancing their skills, knowledge and competencies so to increase personal and organizational growth and outline their five year plan going forward.

The elements of the training looked on how each individual can stay abreast in terms of producing organizational standard in their project delivery.According to their thematic programs this young activist looked at creating structural recommendation and adjustments using the SWOT Analysis, Logicframe, and the Monitoring and Evaluation Plan frame work.

The Chairman of SYND Dr. Jones Adu-Gyamfi, a Monitoring and Evaluation Expert from the University of Ghanaboard took time in the first two days to practically and theoritically teach the team on the relevance of having certains elements as Logframe,Gantt Chart, etc.

Vice Chair Lotte Westerman,an International Development Consultant, also reavealled the essence of team work throughout her session as the facilitator . Within the element of team work, decentralisation was easily realised. It encouraged participation, momentum and eagerness to finish projects works. This helped simplify everything been thought during her section .

The workshop was not just about capacity building, there was room for interactions, dialogue section and also the visitation of members form 350.ORG.

In a short address, they emphasized the need for SYND to join them adovate for the release of one of their members who has been arrested in Asia in connection to climate Activism. SYND together with 350.ORG came up with a 30 seconds video to anticipate for her release.

In a brief to end the week, the Vice Coordinator in the person of Mr Solomon Yamoah was duly recognized. Accrding to him, Mr Ezekiel ChIbeze is an amazing leader who seeks the inclusion of the organization subordinates without descrimination, creating room for growth for everyone on board.
Organizations are advised to walk in the foot steps of SYND, to help create an enable environment for their workers to grow. This will be done easily if there are constant capacity building trainings to equip them with knowledge and the right skills to be efficient in their output.
