The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Coastal Development Authority (CODA) who double as the President of Ghana Weightlifting Federation, Lawyer Jerry Ahmed Shaib, who was elected Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Weija- Gbawe Constituency in a highly contested elections last Saturday, against Incumbent Hon. Gifty Naa Ayeley Mensah, has expressed his gratitude to his team, Constituency Executives and the Polling Station Executives.
Lawyer Jerry Ahmed polled 786 votes, while his contender Hon. Tina Mensah obtained 353, Rejected= 7
Total= 1147
Lawyer Jerry Ahmed Shaib took to his social media platforms to thank the delegates for their opportunity to led the party coming December 7.
