2023 African Games: Ghana’s Women’s Volleyball came from 2 set down to beat Algeria 3-2 advance to the the Women’s semi-finals

Ghana’s Women’s Volleyball team came from the two set down to beat Algeria 3-2 to advance to the semi-final of the ongoing indoor Volleyball games at the Borteyman Sports complex in Accra.

The Black Spikers, at their impeccable best lost the first two set to Algeria, but they managed to put up a spirited fight to defeat Algeria 3-2, (18-23), (16-25), (25-21), (25-23) and (15-09).

Ghana will now meet Tunisia in the semi-final of the Women’s indoor Volleyball on Friday March 22nd, 2024, 2pm at the Borteyman Sports complex in the ongoing African Games while the men’s volleyball team will also lock horns with Egypt at 4pm Ghana time at the Borteyman Sports complex.
