His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo- Addo is set to commission the much awaited Borteyman Sports complex ahaed of the 13th African Games, Accra 2023.
The Borteyman Sports complex is a newly built Multi-purpose Sports facility for the 13th African Games, scheduled to take place from march 8-23, 2024.
The Borteyman Sports Complex boasts an aquatic center, equipped with warm-up and competition pools. It also accommodates up to 1000 spectators.
Additionally, the facility houses five tennis courts and various other amenities to enhance the overall sporting experience.
This is the first time Ghana is hosting the African Games which started in 1965 in the Republic of Congo.
A team from Flagstaff house les by HE Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, the vice president of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and the Minister Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif will officially commission the facility on 13th February, 2024 at 10am at Borteyman.
